AREA DESCRIPTION: THE CRYSTAL ISLES

The Crescent Citadel borders the sea, with jagged peaks leading down to dangerously steep drops. The isles are a collection of massive chunks of ice from a bygone age. The ice flows are scattered across the ocean in a manner similar to islands, although they are impossible to reach, save for the narrow band of black sand which appears daily. To reach this sand bar one must creep along the edge of the world, more or less. The only access is by way of a dark path through the timberland. One wrong step, and it is a quick drop to the darkness of the sea; there are a few individuals who know the way, though, and they benefit from the various trinkets and strange objects found upon the beach.
